Will serve as company expert chemist for emulsion, inverse emulsion and emulsion aggregation technology in the Easley, SC Facility.
Work week is 40 hours Monday-Friday.
DUTIES /
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide market insight relating to product performance and promote strategic growth and innovation within product lines.
- Analyze new and existing products/technology to determine chemical and physical properties, composition, structure, relationships, and reactions.
- polymer batch manufacturing, including laboratory, pilot, and industrial production environments; emulsion polymerization; inverse emulsion processes; emulsion aggregation technology;
- standard physical and chemical material analysis techniques in relation to product function application and processing;
- troubleshooting emulsion processes;
- developing corrective actions in time critical environment
KEY
REQUIREMENTS:
- Master’s Degree in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering.
- Min. 10 years exp. polymer batch manufacturing, including laboratory, pilot, and industrial production environments; emulsion polymerization; inverse emulsion processes; emulsion aggregation technology; standard physical and chemical material analysis techniques in relation to product function application and processing; troubleshooting emulsion processes; and developing corrective actions in time critical environment.
- Min 10 year exp. in lab-related software: Chemstation, LIMS, Empower
