DESCRIPTION

The Information Systems Analyst will troubleshoot, train, and create reports within the Microsoft AX environment. Assists with the development of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) program. Customizes and configures workflow to allow the integration of client/server applications. Tests ERP layout to ensure the system is meeting corporate needs. Focused and meticulous, as an Information Systems Analyst, you must have a creative approach to problem solving and excellent influencing abilities. Superb interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, are also key.

 

 

DUTIES /
RESPONSIBILITIES:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Reporting and database excel extractions
  • Act as liaison between clients and IT – Configuration, installation, and data migration and testing of ERP, and other software pieces with the Information Systems Manager
    • Technical writing, including analysis and document preparation
    • Negotiating with clients to define requirements and expectations
    • Maintain detailed understanding of business processes in order to analyze user’s business requirements and provide day to day support
    • Provide business analysis on Document Management for all departments
    • Project Management as needed with the direction of the Information Systems Manager
    • Participate in committees to analyze business problems/opportunities and contribute to the overall systematic and process oriented solutions related to the ERP system and other software pieces
    • Participate in afterhours support, as necessary
    • Work with IT and ERP vendors/developers to track and resolve applications bugs, patch releases, and upgrades
    • Provide Tier Level 2 support to all users
    • Power BI experience a plus
    • Perform tasks typically expected of a Business Analyst role supporting an ERP environment include but are not limited to:
      • Lead business requirement and design sessions and based on information gathered create requirement documents and functional design specifications
      • Provide project inputs related to project, communication, testing, training and cutover plans
      • Develop test scripts and complete system testing, track and report on testing defects, project issues, action items, etc.
      • Prepare for and guide testing cycles including User Acceptance Testing
      • Provide production support and develop support documentation
  • Provide 24/7 On Call Support on rotating schedule

 

 

KEY
REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
